About this jacket

Twin flap pockets sit square across the front of this burgundy leather bomber jacket and a short stand collar keeps the neckline tidy. At the bottom, a ribbed waist draws the hem in, which is what gives the size L its shape once the zip is closed.

It arrived as a single garment rather than part of a bale, and from there went through the usual route: hand cleaning and conditioning, then grading at our Doncaster office. The flat measurements printed below were taken from this exact jacket. Run a tape across a bomber you already wear, chest to chest, and compare the numbers instead of trusting a label.

The grade here is Very Good. Anything reading as a mark in the images is a mark on the leather, because nothing is smoothed out in editing before a listing goes live.

A one of one piece. No second run sits behind it in the L, so when it sells this listing goes dark.

Returns

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to let us know you want to return it, and 14 more days to send it back. The jacket must come back unworn and in the same condition, with any tags still attached.

Return postage is paid by the buyer unless the item was faulty or wrongly supplied. Once it reaches us and passes a quick check, we refund to your original payment method.

What happened before this was listed

  1. Sourced Bought as a single garment from an estate sale, dealer or private seller, chosen for the condition of the hide rather than the label in the collar.
  2. Cleaned Deep cleaned and conditioned so the leather moves again, without stripping the colour it has settled into.
  3. Repaired Where stitching, hardware or a lining needed work, it was put right before listing: seams restitched by hand, hardware replaced like for like, linings repaired or renewed.
  4. Graded Inspected panel by panel and graded honestly. Anything beyond normal vintage wear is written into the listing.
  5. Photographed Shot under consistent light. The photographs form part of the description, so what you see is what will arrive.
