About this jacket

Open the zip on this burgundy leather bomber jacket and the inside is camouflage print. The hem is knitted rib, the collar stands rather than folds, and the shoulder line runs a broad 23 inches.

Sourcing comes first, then the slow part: it was professionally cleaned and conditioned, then measured, graded, photographed, packed and posted from Doncaster. The flat measurements are printed further down this page, and the honest way to use them is to measure a jacket that already fits you.

The grade is Very Good. Expect a settled patina across the back panel and a couple of small surface marks near one pocket opening. Both are in the photographs.

Sourced Bought as a single garment from an estate sale, dealer or private seller, chosen for the condition of the hide rather than the label in the collar.
Cleaned Deep cleaned and conditioned so the leather moves again, without stripping the colour it has settled into.
Repaired Where stitching, hardware or a lining needed work, it was put right before listing: seams restitched by hand, hardware replaced like for like, linings repaired or renewed.
Graded Inspected panel by panel and graded honestly. Anything beyond normal vintage wear is written into the listing.
