Cookies and tracking

This page sits alongside our privacy policy. The privacy policy covers your information in general. This page does one specific job: it names every tool from another company that runs when you visit this site, and says what each one does. We would rather tell you plainly than leave you to find out.

One of them records your visit

Microsoft Clarity replays how a page was used, including mouse movement, scrolling and clicks. We use it to find where the site confuses people, because a shop selling one of a kind garments lives or dies on whether you can find what you came for. It is named first here because it is the one most people would want to know about.

What runs on this site

  • Shopify. Runs the shop itself: your basket, your session, the checkout, and fraud checks on payment. Shopify also records its own analytics about how the store performs. These are the parts the shop cannot work without.
  • Microsoft Clarity. Records a replay of your visit and produces heatmaps of where visitors click and scroll. Cookies include _clck and _clsk.
  • Google Analytics. Measures visits, where they came from, and which pages are viewed. Cookie _ga.
  • Google Ads and Google Merchant Center. Measure whether a visit followed a Google listing or advertisement, and report our products to Google Shopping. Cookies include _gcl_au.
  • Meta, for Facebook and Instagram. Measures whether a visit followed one of our posts or advertisements. Cookie _fbp.
  • TikTok. Measures whether a visit followed one of our posts or advertisements. Cookies include _ttp and ttcsid.
  • Judge.me. A product review service connected to the shop.

Which of these need your permission

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, only cookies that are strictly necessary to provide something you asked for may be set without your permission. That covers your basket, staying signed in, and securing the checkout. It does not cover analytics or advertising.

Everything in the list above except the Shopify items needs your permission. If you are visiting from the UK or the European Economic Area, a cookie banner appears the first time you arrive, and none of those tools run until you choose Accept. You can also choose Decline, or use Manage preferences to accept some and refuse others. Declining does not limit the shop in any way. You will still see every jacket, every measurement and every photograph, and you can still buy.

If you are visiting from somewhere that does not require consent, those tools run without asking. You can still stop them using the methods below, and you can ask us to delete anything already collected about you.

You can change your mind at any time. Your choice is remembered on the device you made it on, so if you clear your cookies or use a different browser you will be asked again.

How to refuse or remove them

  • Your browser settings can block or delete cookies. In Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox this sits under Privacy or Site settings.
  • Most tracker blocking extensions will stop the analytics and advertising tools listed above. They will not stop the Shopify cookies that run the basket and checkout, and the shop will not work properly without those.
  • Private or incognito browsing discards cookies when you close the window.
  • You can email us and ask us to delete what has been collected about you. We will do it, and we do not need a reason.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. You can complain to them without contacting us first.
