Burgundy Leather Harrington Jacket, Storm Flap Placket

A burgundy leather Harrington jacket in size L, with a pointed leather shirt collar standing at the neck and a straight centre zip running under a leather storm flap that fastens with a press stud at the hem. A vertical zip pocket sits at the chest above two slanted welt hand pockets, and an olive diamond quilted lining shows through the open collar.

It was bought as a single piece, then professionally cleaned and conditioned. It is measured flat, graded, photographed, packed and posted from Doncaster. Sizing from this period wanders, so the flat measurements below are the part to trust. Lay them against a jacket you already own before choosing.

Graded Very Good. Surface creasing runs through the sleeves and the front, and the patina varies mildly across the shoulders. Both sit in the photograph rather than being described around.

The leather waistband and the cuffs are shirred, so they give a little where the flat numbers do not. The shoulder is cut wide and drops past the seam, which is worth reading alongside the chest figure rather than instead of it.

This is the only one of it. When the Harrington goes the page stops selling and stays up.
