Brown Leather Harrington Jacket, Chest Flap and Zip Pockets

About this jacket

Brown leather harrington jacket in size L, with a pointed leather shirt collar fastening at the neck with a press-stud throat tab, a straight centre zip with a press stud at the base of the placket, and four pockets: two lower flap hand pockets, a studded chest flap pocket, and a chest zip pocket on the opposite side. Tan and khaki-olive lining, and a shirred leather waistband.

Heavy set-in creasing across the back panel and the sleeve heads. The shirred waistband leather is rubbed and darkened along the gathers, and the lining shows uneven tonal patching and light soiling.

Return postage is paid by the buyer unless the item was faulty or wrongly supplied. Once it reaches us and passes a quick check, we refund to your original payment method.

What happened before this was listed

  1. Sourced Bought as a single garment from an estate sale, dealer or private seller, chosen for the condition of the hide rather than the label in the collar.
  2. Cleaned Deep cleaned and conditioned so the leather moves again, without stripping the colour it has settled into.
  3. Repaired Where stitching, hardware or a lining needed work, it was put right before listing: seams restitched by hand, hardware replaced like for like, linings repaired or renewed.
  4. Graded Inspected panel by panel and graded honestly. Anything beyond normal vintage wear is written into the listing.
  5. Photographed Shot under consistent light. The photographs form part of the description, so what you see is what will arrive.
