About this jacket

Cream lining runs behind the whole of this burgundy leather Harrington jacket, which pulls in on a ribbed hem and matching ribbed cuffs beneath a soft shirt collar. It is a size L.

Before any of this was written the jacket was professionally cleaned and conditioned, then graded, the same route every piece takes once we have bought it. What a tag claims about size means close to nothing at this age. That is precisely why the flat measurements are printed further down, so hold them up against a coat that already fits you.

Graded Very Good. Colour has deepened unevenly along the sleeves and there is light rubbing where the cuff ribs sit, none of which has been kept out of the photographs.

One of one, as with everything on the rail here. No second exists in this size, and the listing goes dark once this has gone.

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to let us know you want to return it, and 14 more days to send it back. The jacket must come back unworn and in the same condition, with any tags still attached.

Return postage is paid by the buyer unless the item was faulty or wrongly supplied. Once it reaches us and passes a quick check, we refund to your original payment method.

  1. Sourced Bought as a single garment from an estate sale, dealer or private seller, chosen for the condition of the hide rather than the label in the collar.
  2. Cleaned Deep cleaned and conditioned so the leather moves again, without stripping the colour it has settled into.
  3. Repaired Where stitching, hardware or a lining needed work, it was put right before listing: seams restitched by hand, hardware replaced like for like, linings repaired or renewed.
  4. Graded Inspected panel by panel and graded honestly. Anything beyond normal vintage wear is written into the listing.
  5. Photographed Shot under consistent light. The photographs form part of the description, so what you see is what will arrive.
