A trucker jacket is denim jacket architecture built in leather. The seam across the back is a yoke, and that is what gives the cut its square shoulder. The front carries twin chest pockets with buttoned flaps. The bottom finishes in a flat buttoned waistband with side tabs, so the fit through the hip is set by the tabs, not by elastic ribbing. The collar is a shirt collar, pointed and soft. Short body, cropped at the waist, straight sleeve.

How to get the size right

Lay a jacket you already own and like flat on a table and measure straight across from armpit seam to armpit seam. That number is the pit to pit, and it is the one to compare against the listing. Doubling it gives the chest measured around. A trucker is short and boxy by design, so read the length and shoulder figures too, not only the chest.

The letters follow the measurement: 17in or less is XS, 18 to 19 is S, 20 to 21 is M, 22 to 23 is L, 24 to 25 is XL, and 26 or more is XXL. Leather softens and moulds with wear but never gains inches across the chest, so buy for the measurement you need now.
