Burgundy Leather Trucker Jacket, Blue Check Lining

Open the front and the whole inside of this burgundy leather trucker jacket turns out to be blue and cream check flannel, carried up into the pointed shirt collar so the pattern shows the moment you flip it. Done up it reads plain; open, the check does most of the talking.

A straight zip runs the centre front from hem to throat. Two chest pockets sit behind horizontal zips, each one topped with a stud flap, and lower down the hand pockets cut in at an angle. Cuffs fasten with buttons, there is no knitted rib anywhere on it, and the hem finishes as a straight band of the same hide with a tab at each side to draw the waist in. That check flannel lines the body and both sleeves, not just the collar.

It was cleaned before listing, then gone over in Doncaster: the zip run up and down, every stud pressed and released, the lining followed along its seams. Flat measurements sit above this description in inches, taken with the garment laid out, and holding those figures against something already hanging in your wardrobe will tell you far more than the size XL does on its own.

Wear is real here and worth reading before you decide. Deep storage creasing runs across the body and sleeves in every photograph. Below the yoke on the upper back there is a small cluster of pale flecks along with a rubbed pinkish scuff where the surface finish has worn through, and the lower front panels and hem band carry mild abrasion and lighter rub marks. Set against that, the hide is supple with no tears, splits or open seams, the zip and press studs are sound, and the lining is clean with its red label still in place.
