About this jacket

The shoulder line is the first thing you notice on this burgundy leather vintage jacket in size L. It is soft and unstructured, with no padding underneath, so the leather drapes from the collarbone rather than sitting square on it. A stand collar finishes the neck and the body runs on an olive lining.

Sourced one garment at a time, then professionally cleaned and conditioned before it is measured, graded, photographed, packed and posted from Doncaster. Nothing here came off a production run. The flat measurements are listed below, and the quickest way to size it is to lay a jacket you already like beside those numbers.

The grade is Very Good. Where the leather has creased or picked up a scuff, that area has been photographed rather than styled around.

  1. Sourced Bought as a single garment from an estate sale, dealer or private seller, chosen for the condition of the hide rather than the label in the collar.
  2. Cleaned Deep cleaned and conditioned so the leather moves again, without stripping the colour it has settled into.
  3. Repaired Where stitching, hardware or a lining needed work, it was put right before listing: seams restitched by hand, hardware replaced like for like, linings repaired or renewed.
  4. Graded Inspected panel by panel and graded honestly. Anything beyond normal vintage wear is written into the listing.
  5. Photographed Shot under consistent light. The photographs form part of the description, so what you see is what will arrive.
