Burgundy Leather Vintage Jacket, Sleeve Flag Patch

A subdued tonal flag patch sits high on the right sleeve of this burgundy leather vintage jacket, close enough to the hide in colour that it reads as a detail up close rather than a badge across the room. It is stitched down on every edge, with no lifting at the corners.

Pointed shirt collar at the neck, and the front closes on a single straight zip up the centre, so the line down the middle stays clean. Four pleated flap pockets sit on the body, each held shut by a dark button. There is no knitted rib anywhere, so the leather runs right through to the hem and to the ends of the sleeves. Inside, the olive cotton lining carries a zip pocket.

It was professionally cleaned, the zip run end to end and the buttons and flaps checked over, with the hide left as found rather than refinished. Sizing is XL on the label, but go by the flat measurements listed beside the photographs and hold them against a jacket you already wear.

Wear is genuine and easy to see. Both front panels, the shoulders and the back are densely creased, and the high points of that creasing have rubbed to a lighter, matte tone, with a slight dryness to the surface sheen. Colour stays even burgundy-oxblood all over with no patchy fading. No holes, splits or tears anywhere; zip, buttons and all four pocket flaps present and working; lining clean, with no staining or seam damage.
