About this jacket

A burgundy leather vintage jacket built for room rather than restraint, sized XXL, with a shirt collar that sits flat, flap pockets at the hip and a patterned red lining that only shows when the front falls open.

It came in on a UK sourcing run, then was professionally cleaned and conditioned. It is measured, graded, photographed, packed and posted from Doncaster. Vintage sizing rarely agrees with a modern label, so compare the flat measurements on this page against a jacket you already own before you decide.

Condition is graded Very Good. The leather has gone soft at the elbows and carries the creasing of a coat that was actually worn, and anything worth knowing about has been photographed rather than tidied out of frame.

One of one. There is no second XXL waiting in the back, so when this sells the listing goes dark.

Returns

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to let us know you want to return it, and 14 more days to send it back. The jacket must come back unworn and in the same condition, with any tags still attached.

Return postage is paid by the buyer unless the item was faulty or wrongly supplied. Once it reaches us and passes a quick check, we refund to your original payment method.

  1. Sourced Bought as a single garment from an estate sale, dealer or private seller, chosen for the condition of the hide rather than the label in the collar.
  2. Cleaned Deep cleaned and conditioned so the leather moves again, without stripping the colour it has settled into.
  3. Repaired Where stitching, hardware or a lining needed work, it was put right before listing: seams restitched by hand, hardware replaced like for like, linings repaired or renewed.
  4. Graded Inspected panel by panel and graded honestly. Anything beyond normal vintage wear is written into the listing.
  5. Photographed Shot under consistent light. The photographs form part of the description, so what you see is what will arrive.
