Open the front of this burgundy leather vintage jacket and the whole inside is olive quilting, set behind a shirt collar and a ribbed hem that draws the body in at the waist. It is sized XXL.Every piece comes in on its own. It is professionally cleaned and conditioned, then measured, graded, photographed, packed and posted from Doncaster. The flat measurements sit further down, and holding them against a jacket you already own beats guessing from a size label sewn in decades ago.The grade for this one is Very Good. Wear is part of what makes a jacket of this age worth having, and it has been left in the photographs exactly as the leather presents it.This is a one of one piece. Return postage is paid by the buyer unless the item was faulty or wrongly supplied. Once it reaches us and passes a quick check, we refund to your original payment method.

What happened before this was listed

  1. Sourced Bought as a single garment from an estate sale, dealer or private seller, chosen for the condition of the hide rather than the label in the collar.
  2. Cleaned Deep cleaned and conditioned so the leather moves again, without stripping the colour it has settled into.
  3. Repaired Where stitching, hardware or a lining needed work, it was put right before listing: seams restitched by hand, hardware replaced like for like, linings repaired or renewed.
  4. Graded Inspected panel by panel and graded honestly. Anything beyond normal vintage wear is written into the listing.
  5. Photographed Shot under consistent light. The photographs form part of the description, so what you see is what will arrive.
