Zipped cuffs set the tone on this burgundy leather cafe racer jacket, closing snug at the wrist instead of gaping, so the sleeve sits close all the way down rather than flaring out over the hand.

Band collar with a snap tab at the throat, straight centre zip up the front, and no rib knit anywhere to gather the hem or wrists. Four zipped openings sit across the front: two on the chest, two angled lower down for hands. The back is cut in seamed panels, and inside it is lined in burgundy woven cloth with a small red woven label.

Wear is plain to see and worth reading twice. The hide is soft and heavily broken in, creased through the body and both sleeves, with the grain relaxed rather than stiff. Rubbed lighter patches show on the upper left sleeve and across the shoulders where the finish has thinned, and there is light surface scuffing along the front hem edge and around the cuffs. No tears, splits or repairs are visible, and the lining is clean and intact apart from ordinary creasing.
