About this jacket

Quilted panels run across both shoulders of this burgundy leather cafe racer jacket. Underneath them sits a low band collar, and the cafe racer cut is slim enough through the ribs that it reads as a true size S rather than a shrunken medium.

Each jacket is professionally cleaned and conditioned, then measured, graded, photographed, packed and posted from Doncaster. Chest, waist, shoulder, sleeve and length are all listed flat on this page. Measure something you already own, then put the two sets of numbers side by side before you decide.

Very Good is the grade it earned. A jacket that has been worn shows it, and rather than describe that loosely we put a camera close and left the results unretouched.

There is one of these and there will not be another. Once it is bought the page closes for good, which matters more at the small end of the size run than anywhere else.

Returns

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to let us know you want to return it, and 14 more days to send it back. The jacket must come back unworn and in the same condition, with any tags still attached.

Return postage is paid by the buyer unless the item was faulty or wrongly supplied. Once it reaches us and passes a quick check, we refund to your original payment method.

What happened before this was listed

  1. Sourced Bought as a single garment from an estate sale, dealer or private seller, chosen for the condition of the hide rather than the label in the collar.
  2. Cleaned Deep cleaned and conditioned so the leather moves again, without stripping the colour it has settled into.
  3. Repaired Where stitching, hardware or a lining needed work, it was put right before listing: seams restitched by hand, hardware replaced like for like, linings repaired or renewed.
  4. Graded Inspected panel by panel and graded honestly. Anything beyond normal vintage wear is written into the listing.
  5. Photographed Shot under consistent light. The photographs form part of the description, so what you see is what will arrive.
