Burgundy Leather Cafe Racer Jacket, Buckled Throat Latch

A throat-latch strap crosses the band collar and buckles shut through a metal loop, and it is that fastening which carries this burgundy leather cafe racer jacket in size L.

Below the collar, the centre zip runs dead straight and sits exposed against the hide, with a yoke seam cut across the chest above two slanted welt pockets for the hands. Shirring gathers the back waist so the body draws in without any knitted rib, and each cuff closes on a snap tab. The lining inside is tan cotton.

This piece was professionally cleaned and conditioned, then measured, graded, photographed, packed and posted from Doncaster. The zip was run end to end, the throat-latch loop and both cuff snaps worked open and shut, and the hide left to settle before listing. Sizing is best judged from the flat measurements listed beside the photographs, held up against a jacket already hanging in your wardrobe.

Wear is heavy and reads from across a room. Finish rub has pulled colour off both shoulders, the upper chest and the sleeves, leaving a pale grey-silver mottling over the dark hide that runs strongest on the shoulder caps and outer sleeves. Creasing sits deep and set-in through the body and at the elbows, while darker unrubbed patches survive low down and around the hem. Nothing is torn or split, no hardware is missing, the zip is intact and the tan lining photographs clean.
