About this jacket

Cut on cafe racer lines, this burgundy leather biker jacket keeps a slim run through the body, finishes at a band collar and carries twin zip pockets on the front. There is no asymmetry and no excess hardware.

Sourcing is done piece by piece rather than by the pallet. This piece was professionally cleaned and conditioned, then measured, graded, photographed, packed and posted from Doncaster. XXL is the label we have put on it, so treat the flat measurements below as the real specification and check them against something you already own.

Very Good is the grade. The hide has the creasing and slight softening that follows years of wear, and every mark on it appears in the photographs rather than being smoothed out of the copy.

This is a one of one. Sell it and the listing goes dark for good.

Returns

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to let us know you want to return it, and 14 more days to send it back. The jacket must come back unworn and in the same condition, with any tags still attached.

Return postage is paid by the buyer unless the item was faulty or wrongly supplied. Once it reaches us and passes a quick check, we refund to your original payment method.

What happened before this was listed

  1. Sourced Bought as a single garment from an estate sale, dealer or private seller, chosen for the condition of the hide rather than the label in the collar.
  2. Cleaned Deep cleaned and conditioned so the leather moves again, without stripping the colour it has settled into.
  3. Repaired Where stitching, hardware or a lining needed work, it was put right before listing: seams restitched by hand, hardware replaced like for like, linings repaired or renewed.
  4. Graded Inspected panel by panel and graded honestly. Anything beyond normal vintage wear is written into the listing.
  5. Photographed Shot under consistent light. The photographs form part of the description, so what you see is what will arrive.
